Commission: Heidi
Added 2024-09-30 19:53:56 +0000 UTCThis commission comes at the request of one my patrons who this time, wanted me to try my hand at recreating the Chinese Instagram model Heidi (@heidibibe on IG). Normally, I don't do too well with recreating real people, but I think this one turned out alright! She definitely has some more distinctive features which make it a tad bit easier to capture in Honey Select, but obviously I still have a lot of room to improve x)
The outfits and hairstyles she has are all very varied so it was hard to settle on just one. Based on the photos I was provided by the commissioner, I went with something a bit less revealing and a bit more stylish, as well as her more common middle part hairstyle. However, there were a lot of choices, so hopefully the current face works with any multitude of hairstyles should you choose to modify it. I also attached a few of the reference photos just so you can see the resemblance, as I'm sure many of you (myself included) were not familiar with this person before this. Certain parts, like the lips and eyes, might just have limitations with how HS2 operates which prevented me from getting the exact shape I wanted. It's definitely something I want to practice more to figure out how to get even more customization, as I'm sure it's simply a skill issue!
Still, the commission was lots of fun and I appreciate the challenge! The commissioner was kind enough to share the card with all patrons, so please enjoy this custom card and let me know what you think!
