It's the first time in all my animation journey that i've hated adding a model to a poll, without testing it first.
R2Studio's models are good for games and animations but this one, is one of their first models that they've made. Soooo, it has some weird things that make it hard for poses like this one. By the way, I wanted to have the calves touching the thighs but when I rotated the calve it went inside the thigh, the knee went bye bye too. That's why I made this "piston strap".
There are 14 images on this post so I'll break down what I've done in image order.
Image 1:
This is the final body with some weight paints that I've corrected and a shit load of sculpting. I changed the textures of the gloves, thigh highs and the nurse tiara-hat. Finally I made some high heels with closed toes, as R2Studio's models don't have individual toe bones, unfortunately.
Image 2:
This is the original body. Look how the shins curve....oof 🐍
Images 3/4/5:
This is the piston restrainer with leather straps and some metal details. As you move the foot up and down the piston ends follow and rotate and the piston goes inside too.
Image 6:
A rope I've made (1m with 25 hooks that are placed as childs to various vertexes on the body, this way I can move the hand and the rope follows), plus the nurse hat with the same style textures as the other clothes.
Images 7/8:
Some better and stronger lights for the eyes, that also work when the eyes are closed (had to remake the subsurface map for this to work only on the eyes and not having the light go through the whole head, like a light bulb)
Images 9/10/11/12/13/14:
These are the camera views. Might have to shift them a bit when the animating is over, to avoid clipping. I'm also not sure about the final (image 14) will work so if it's not usable I'll use the previous one (image 13), the male body might go through the camera so you'll see the inside of the body (clipping).
That's all I've been working on the final few days. It was a lot more nerve-racking than some of my previous projects and the work that went on the character was the most time-consuming. To tell you the truth I was going to give up on this character but I thought to myself "Is that all you can do?". I just hope I don't meet anymore problems while animating.
Tomorrow I'll start that and probably I'll finish in a couple of days, then cames the liquid making and baking.
