2025-10-12 16:46:11 +0000 UTCMy Math(s) teacher was a bit odd. You would sometimes walk into the classroom to find him sitting in his chair. On his desk. Optionally, wearing an unfeasibly large false moustache - or not, depending on ... well, I don't really know what the moustache-wearing depended on, but it was definitely an option that he felt needed to be expressed on occasion. To be clear, this was not a class for the "differently gifted" at maths: this was the top-tier maths class for our year (I was a swot and a geek long before it became popular...) - and he was the Head of the maths department. So, yeah, teachers in the UK could be a little odd. This was quite a while ago so I don't know what they are like now that everyone has a camera on their phone...
