The dad in this you know already as LORD FLASHHEART from Blackadder.. and that was just a minor cameo role ;) A "bar" in a pub is the counter where you go and order the drinks. A gaffer means a boss.. nothing to do with the tape. The clapper is the black and white striped wooden thing you hold in front of the camera before a scene and CLAP the wooden thing together to make an audio spike for syncing later.. it usually has stuff like name of show and scene number written on it :P This show is semi-autobiographical as Greg's former career was as a drama teacher
