You need your eyes testing flower 😂 you're still my no2 babe tho 🥰

Joshyboiiiiii

Probably not just you, but I disagree 🤪

Mandy Cane Lane

Is it just me that thinks David's wife is one sexy older woman 😳

Josh sloan

Hi Mandy! 7:06 “deliberate”, I’m diagnosing a case of semantic satiation 😁 8:30 We do have “extra special bathtub heating devices” in the UK, it’ll keep a bath hot for over 4 hours! It’s called “more hot water” 10:47 David’s analysis of the wrong incentivisation reminds me of a personal anecdote when I worked for a gaming company in the 2000s. So at a time when these were still hot property, they started giving Nintendo Wii consoles as a leaving present at the farewell party to employees on their last day of work 😁 I must have been to several of these farewell parties over the months, and it became a running joke, it was so predictable. “ooh, I wonder what’s in the bag?” “you just wanted a Nintendo Wii, didn’t you?” So when I found a better job, no surprise, it also became *my* turn to get a Nintendo Wii 😀 Not quite a golden-parachute, but party on! 🥳 good times 🤣 12:00 so that’s *your* De Niro impression 🤌🤌 15:16 Don’t feel disheartened Mandy 🥹 🤞 It might still be a perfect game at this point! All wrong answers! It’s equally unlikely 😁 17:57 Oh! Your infinite abuse of superlatives, always 😁 Taskmaster’s precisely a show with one judge, jury and executioner 😆 23:29 3 for 3! You’re on a roll 🤣 27:45 Also, local news outlets will follow up any old goofy story that’s sent in. See Ricky Gervais’s “After Life” for example 😁 36:47 Asim: “David you’ve obviously heard Victoria telling you about”, David “Yes”, Asim: “Stuart feinting” He did say yes! I don’t think it’s a clue coming from David. He’d only be conceding that he’s heard of the “story”, told by Victoria not moments ago, about the guy feinting. His guard’s also up because Asim had just tested Victoria with a similar gotcha question, and she carefully prefixed everything with the conditional tense “Were this to be true, which it isn’t”. 39:55 Man, your gut’s sure doing a lot of detective-izing on this one 😀 41:00 4 for 4! This could be a clean streak 🤞 42:15 Here’s the original clip https://youtu.be/DFgNsLt_-fQ Ha! I see this is the video I recommended you start up a Patreon account. Yeah, I know you’d probably have had many people saying the same thing, but graciously your original reply didn’t give that impression at all 😜 42:14 The key difference is in the intent, which directs the outcome. David described it as an act of spite, which Victoria still didn’t know about to that day, so no intention of owning up to it. You described a prank, done for fun, without the emotional baggage except maybe oneupmanship and revenge from being pranked, and meant to eventually be revealed, so you can both laugh about it, even though it’s at their expense. Sill, requires a GSOH and forgiving nature to put up with constant pranking! Pranking isn’t part of everyone’s arsenal 😁 From the 2022 clip: 3:45 Mandy: “true” I’m counting that as 5 for 5! 🥳 That’s something to celebrate, a clean streak, you avoided all the points 👏 🎉 Top form Mandy G 🤗

There is a group of judges

JokerDanny

Hahaha! Love it! If only life had save points! And he only know's English if he is DeNiro! Hahaha

Mandy Cane Lane

Hellllo lovely person, first, I agree with what Ryan ⬆️ said, and was it a Spanish De Niro? Or does he only know English if he's De Niro? This was a good episode, nice pick. It's fun to see Victoria and David together in this one. I totally agree that dog doesn't look like that guy. I have seen it before, but I thought Dennis Healy was a cricketer lol. So clearly you didn't do so well here with the guesses and all that. That's fine, don't stress, I have the solution. Before you make your guess, save the game. I'm sure you've probably done this before. Depending on the kind of video games you play I suppose. But with the save, if you guess wrong, just load up your save file, and hey presto! Another free guess which you're guaranteed to get right! Well I hope so anyway 😜 and all that means an easy clean sweep next episode! Your welcome again. What would you do without my infallible genius. 🙃🤪🤣 geez I'm an idiot 😆 have a truly MAGNIFICENT day.

Feathers McGraw

Haha, so you're telling me that you 'forgot about it' 😅. Well, shut the f..... Fridge door. 😁

Rusty Dog

Hahaha! Isn't it?

Mandy Cane Lane

Haha! I have been trying to remember that quote to say on video for SO LONG! Well played Rusty! 🤗🤗🤗

Mandy Cane Lane

Of course! And I am making my way through the Wilty list with "the best ones" first and then will hopefully get through them all. 🤗

Mandy Cane Lane

Ohhhhhh yeaaah! I though he looked familiar, but couldn't place him. Figured it was from some WILTY clip or thumbnail. Haha, thank you!

Mandy Cane Lane

THERE it is! Haha! Thank you Danny!

Mandy Cane Lane

But only one judge? 🧐

Mandy Cane Lane

Hahahhahha!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Ok, fair enough! Will use this information in my future detectivising! 🤪

Mandy Cane Lane

Hahaha! No. It says "New York Brooklyn"

Mandy Cane Lane

🤗🤗

Mandy Cane Lane

Clearly she keeps it light to save lives! 😅🤣

Mandy Cane Lane

Haha, it was a long journey! Lol

Mandy Cane Lane

Lmao! 🍭

Mandy Cane Lane

Oh that is so cool!!! 🙌🏻

Mandy Cane Lane

Haha, I was nodding because I had a picture in my head, it was just a very weird one! 🤣😅🤪

Mandy Cane Lane

Well, now I'm gonna start using "shut the fuck outta here!". That's fantastic

Ryan W.

For me, your Lollipop man moment was such a good highlight of the video :) I honestly thought you knew what one was and was just going with it. Brilliant. My votes were:- Special bath - Lie (incorrect) Scored own goal - Lie (correct) Dennis Healey dog - True (correct) - I know because Claire mentioned a dog that looked like Cher, and I've seen that one - Google it :) Special guest - Greg (incorrect) which was a bugger because before they revealed it, I Googled 'Samsons Butchers in Bromley' and it does exist! So I guess he just used that shop to make his lie. Grrrr Finally, David moving Victoria's bookmarks - Lie (correct) (I didn't remember it from before so it was a new guess :) So 3 out of 5. Oh and your word 'deliberate' as in 'We deliberated over the points of the meeting' was totally correct. Great reaction! How time for me to shut the f outta here. Love your 'mafia' type accent btw. 'Forget about it' :D Thanks for rounding off my evening in style.

Rusty Dog

Hey, I was the one that suggested to do this lol I didn't mean to literally search for an episode where you specifically don't know anyone haha you made a good choice either way though. I just meant not to avoid episodes you don't know anyone on or don't only look for episodes with like Greg, Bob or Rhod Gilbert on lol thanks for listening though!

James Moore

Right that was it. I think Asim got it almost right, just altered the end of it a bit.

Squeesher

Confirmed.

Jeffrey44

Greg James was in the most recent Taskmaster New Year's Treat! (the guy who didn't bend his arms in the carp pellet task)

I think you put too much importance on how the panelists would make contact with their "This is my..." guest. I don't think it would be too difficult to track down a lollipop gentleman. A researcher, who is paid to do that kind of thing, could just phone the school or if he had really bean David and Victoria's local lollipop handler, they might know him well enough to ask him themselves or at least pass on contact details for a researcher. To track down a butcher is even easier, you simply contact their butchery which will be listed in The Meat Preparation Index, a publication that any decent television researcher would have close to hand at all times. If I saw David Mitchell in the street, I'd kick him up the bum. He would be very cross and confused at first but once he cooled his jets, I would give him my email address and explain how I would be more than happy to appear on his television show and be the "This is my..." guest. David Mitchell would be so pleased and look forward to saying "This is Jeffrey, he once kicked me up the posterior while I was on my way to post a letter" in a future episode recording.

Jeffrey44

It's a shame that your moggy ruined your new uniform but, if it's not too much of a personal question, does it have something like "Tomato" written on the front?

Jeffrey44

👍👍

TheHigh

I'm no good at 'Only Connect'. I think you need a particular kind of brain for it, for most of it anyway. Victoria keeps it light though haha. Great reaction Mandy, lots of fun 😁

Steve with a beard

The first time I heard it used was as "lollipop lady", and it def made me think of more a Mary Poppins type character before I actually saw her

Squeesher

Your reaction to realizing what a "lollipop man" (crossing guard) is, was freaking adorable 😍😄

Squeesher

When I was at primary school, everyone used the term "lollipop man", but the crossing guard outside my school was a lollipop woman. I used to wonder if she had a lollipop husband and lollipop children. 😅

Tony Mingoia

For whatever reason, I woke up from sleeping this morning having dreamt about hoping you'd check out this specific episode of Wilty, very randomly. Lo and behold, here it is!

Joeb Rogers

I saw you nodding along there, but I could tell you didn't know WTF they were talking about when they mentioned the lollipop man. So glad they explained it
