WILTY? - Full Episode - S13 E4

In the 16th minute you decided to just look at your boobs for inspiration, love it 😂 btw in the final season of how I met your mother we do find out what varney does for a living, what a fantastic season 🙄🙄

Josh sloan

Theys more chance if me finding love again than you getting a perfect score

Josh sloan

Oh yeah of course, I have actually seen that episode but completely forgot about it lol. Looks like I'm in the bad memory club with Mandy...

Joe D

On reflection, I'm pretty sure I just shot myself in the foot with the above beef comment. You were taking the piss out of my spelling mistake, a whoosh! from me, and I didn't realise the slang word "beef" *didn't* originate from the north of England. My mate from Leeds introduced me to the slang term, but it originated in the US apparently. Yes, I'm explaining to myself now too 😆

𝖦𝖺𝗋𝗒 𝖬𝗈𝗋𝗀𝖺𝗇

Beef on sight*? (Oops, my spelling mistake there) I don’t know if you’re bluffing, double bluffing or it’s a whoosh! moment for you 😁 I was wrong about the gambling dogs, I was wrong about the Friends reference, which are both in your field of expertise 🤣 but this? Again, I haven’t detected 🧐 any evidence you know, and I’m betting there’s NOT multiple layers to your taunt “You have never had beef on site?”, and you didn’t correct my spelling, so Mandy I’ll take the bait … Beef roughly means to hold a grudge, so “Beef on sight” means they instantly had a problem with each other. So tell me, should I serve up a side order of egg-on-my-face with that beef on site (sic)? Aaargh! Caught out by a Friends reference 😖 Oh how the tables have turned, did that feel good to you Mandy? 😆 That’s a first for me, though many more Friends references have probably whoosh!ed over my head in the last 8 months, I’m not gonna dwell on that 😳 … … … 😖 Now I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of some corrective comments 🫤 Let this be a lesson to me! I will take note, and in future replies I shall likewise demonstrate all the kindness you gave me, and be careful to disarm your ego with the sage and wisdom of a learned teacher, so you might actually hear and ingest the valuable knowledge being offered, and restore peace and balance in your world 🙏 🤭 Muhaha!

𝖦𝖺𝗋𝗒 𝖬𝗈𝗋𝗀𝖺𝗇

LOL!!! You have never had beef on site? I usually do at restaurants. It's delicious. Also the fear of trinkets is a Friends joke! Muhaha! You need to brush up on your Friends references to properly follow my chaotic train of thought =p

Greg Davies, Claudia Winkleman and Mandy Cane Lane!!! Woot woot woot! I’m late to this, so I’ll include quotes next to the timestamps, you’re welcome 🤗 If my gut could comment how well you’re listening to yours, it would say 8:00 Yeah! Listen to your gut! 16:07 Nooo! Don’t listen to your gut! 30:50 Yeah! Listen to your gut! 36:16 Yeah! Listen to your gut! 41:12 🤨 The gut doesn’t think Mandy! 😆 10:52 Guz: “me and him had beef on site” 16:24 Greg: “Do you believe people can have beef on site?” Mandy: “I do” - Well your gut didn’t believe, did it? 😄 20:46 Mandy: “People don’t know what their friends do for a living” - I agree! Furthermore, If people are promoted based on success until they attain their "level of incompetence”, then many people are already at their “level of incompetence” and don’t even know what they’re doing for a living themselves! Mandy: “I’ve seen videos about this” - Yes, Chandler and Barney are *the* go-to examples, and now I’m beginning to figure out which “videos” you’ve seen about this, or should I call them box-sets? 🤣 32:39 Mandy: “Even a fear of trinkets! They have sharp edges, ok?!” That’s very specific 😆 So you have a fear of trinkets? Tell me, 🧐 did you have any traumatic incidents involving the sharp edges of trinkets from your childhood? That’s normally the root cause of these fears, and I should know! I once read a pop psychology leaflet 😁 35:15 Thailand sounds like Tie Land, a fictional Tie shop, then he said no no, we didn’t go to Tie Land, we went to Sock Shop. *groan* He must have recycled that joke so many times 🤦‍♂️ I agree, Greg just coasted the 2nd half of this episode. Excellent as always 😊 Catch you in the next one G

Claudia's already been on Taskmaster! "Taskmaster's New Year Treat II". Shame it was only a single episode, I'm not sure it disqualifies her for a full series 🤔 and yeah she was fun! and did as well as you might expect 🤣

𝖦𝖺𝗋𝗒 𝖬𝗈𝗋𝗀𝖺𝗇

I actually suggested this episode (could be a coincidence Mandy chose it, I'm sure she gets many!) and it was purely for Guz's (who I think is new to her) ghost story - completely forgot Claudia (my favorite) and Greg were in it

llegan

sure, but i should have payed attention ooops sry 🤭

Carl-Fredrik L

yup

Carl-Fredrik L

No worries! I was calling him Romesh because he had the same story 🤭

Mandy Cane Lane

haha sorry i heard you say romesh a few times and got confused

Carl-Fredrik L

I mourn the end of "Ed-Titted"

Nathan

Hahaha! This comment was fabulous! And OMGGGGG Edi- Ted!!!!! I can say that!!! 😯 Thank you so much!!!! 🌈🙌🏻

Mandy Cane Lane

Haha! I know that silly! But Romesh was on the show and had a VERY similar story. He locked a kid in a cupboard... or did he? 🤪

Mandy Cane Lane

Sorry. Thats not Romesh. Thats Guz Khan

Carl-Fredrik L

Greg and Claudia, very 'woot'-able indeed (that would have meant something entirely different if Jonathon Ross had said it 🤭).Some how didn't feel like there was quite enough Greg or Claudia though. You may not have achieved your clean sweep just yet, but that was some mighty fine detectivising all the same. Getting the 'Ghost bodyguard' correct was inspirational! The way you saw all the different angles, and analysed the suspects was as though you were in the Matrix and could see it all written out in front of you.👌 and to cap of this very successful and entertaining little jaunt, here is your GOLD STAR 🌟! You said you deserved one and I agree👍 I frankly can't believe no one else has given you one (it's a travesty I say!). Your displayed mastery of the word "edited" was quite commendable. You did mess it up almost immediately afterwards, but your ingenuity in going with "cut" instead was genius, truly demonstrates the kind of fast thinking, ingenuity and, well i dont mind saying it, chutzpah, we need in the upper management of an organisation like this... But I digress, regarding your little literary kerfuffle, might I suggest, rather than "edit-ed" try pronouncing it like "edi-ted", that may help 🤷‍♂️? Well... signing off from another one cheif. What a corker! Its been a wild ride with no end in sight, and a one way ticket to the gates of oblivion. See you there... 🤘

Feathers McGraw

Yep, you got it spot on. Good detectivising 😁

Rusty Dog

I was doing so well in this one!! Haha, and they just looked like friends to me.. So I am proud of that guess xD

Mandy Cane Lane

Mandy, wth?! :) I can't believe you guessed the mystery guest round correctly. I wasn't buying that ghost story thing for a second. Haha. I went with Claudia in the car park. Doh!! Well done. Apart from that one I think we agreed on all of them. Can't believe the 2nd one was true. Gut feeling was a good way to go for sure. Keep striving for the perfect score.

Rusty Dog

Hahahhahaha! Very true! He is just like a kid sometimes 🤣

Mandy Cane Lane

Haha, she would be fun!

Mandy Cane Lane

Sounds like a plan! Any suggestions? 🤗

Mandy Cane Lane

Hahahaha! I believe you! And thank you for explaining. I had no idea what Pritt was 🤭

Mandy Cane Lane

Oh my! That is a terrible teacher! Glad you stood your ground and hope you kept your chin down when the objects were flying threw the air

Mandy Cane Lane

It's so easy to tell when Greg's lying because he's always so keen to tell his fun life stories. Although this episode was next level. "Would you like me to tell the story?" "No." "Please let me tell the story" "No." "Well I'm going to tell the story anyway!"

GrandLineReview

Guz Khan is great on Taskmaster fyi. Dunno if she’d be up for it or not but would be good to see Claudia on Taskmaster sometime also..

Joe D

You should go out of your comfort zone and pick episodes that don't have your favourite standard people on, or take suggestions from commenters so you find new comedians/personalities, you'll still enjoy it and Rob, David and Lee will always be on it to make it funny anyway

James Moore

(I can't remember if Mandy already knows so I'll just say "Pritt" is a brand of glue-stick in the UK)

Nathan

That actually happened at my school. There was a room used for storage in between two german language classrooms... and one time when the teacher went in there to get an overhead projector for the lesson, someone got up & locked him in! Naughtiest thing i ever did was take out the end of a pritt-stick and throw it at the ceiling... i kid you not it was stuck there for years.

SynphamyMusic

Oh Mandy, that is nothing for British schools. Nobody wants to be there, not the students or the teachers, it's a free for all. I got "accidentally" hit in the head by a whiteboard eraser, and stapler on separate occasions by the same maths teacher, angry that I corrected him teaching compound interest. (He was wrong and it ended up worth 8 marks on our final exam) I'd have much rather been locked in a cupboard
