Fixing up the recording of my talk ended up a bigger job than I expected. The original livestream was okay, but there were quite a few technical issues, including some important visuals not being shown at the right time.
I color-corrected the entire video, remixed the sound and edited some of the excessive stammering and water drinking I was doing on stage to make this near-perfect "director's cut" version of the show.
You'll notice that the Patreon community and a few individual supporters get featured (pwned) in one part of the talk. I hope you know it's done with love and admiration for you all :)

2018-11-08 17:59:54 +0000 UTCYep! QLab added DMX light control, so I had to play with it. :) I dragged two heavy lights all the way to Europe, but one wasn't compatible with local power so I had to hurriedly reprogram the other to do the job of both, minutes before the audience was let in.

I humbly assumed my lack of CG education, and your superior knowledge, and asked some additional questions out of sheer curiosity what exactly could have cause that effect. Though I suspect the suddenly bad lighting and camera work had to do with that quick costing change being a bit too quick, you did an excellent job. I was like “there is no way he’s gonna come out as captain D... no way, no wa— WHOAH!!!!!!!”
