2023-01-27 12:19:25 +0000 UTCThe Divine Comedy wrote and performed the "good" version of My Lovely Horse, the silly Eurovision b-side song Dougal liked plus they did the Father Ted theme tune. Joby Talbot has gone on to do soundtracks for some serious major film and TV industry projects but I still think my favourite of his is The League of Gentlemen music. It's fits the programme so well. I saw The Divine Comedy, before they got big, supporting Supergrass back in the day and they were the tightest, most professional band I've ever seen. Blew my friends and I away. The crowd were a bit flat when they first came on, as people usually are for unknown support acts, but after one song everyone was going mental! It was such an amazing night.
