Metallica invited a lot of musicians to collaborate together to create new versions of covers of Metallica songs for Metallica's "Blacklist" album. It included artists like Mylie Cyrus, Elton John, cellist YoYo Ma and many other big names. The Warning was invited to cover the Metallica classic "Enter Sandman" with their own arrangement. They were paired with Grammy winning Canadian pop/r& B singer Alessia Cara. This arrangement was written by The Warning. Metallica loved it, and this is the first track on their Blacklist album. It is also the best cover done by anyone. Super creative and interesting. They cleverly started out r & b, moved into pop, moved into rock and finished with metal.
