0.5 Development Update 28

Hey, folks!

My apologies for skipping a dev update, but by the time I was ready to write something it was already the middle of the week so I figured I could just do one dev update at the end.

So, first things first. I’m back and back to work. I still feel jetlagged for some reason, even though there was barely any change in timezones, so this week wasn’t that productive. But we are still on target to release an update sometime next week. Or, at worst, in a week and a half.

Cait’s story is pausing for this update, but v0.5.9, planned for August, should finish her arc and feature her first proper sex scene, yay! After this milestone is reached, we’ll have a big important discussion (and a poll) on what to do with the 6th main cast girl. Actually, we might have this discussion earlier, but I’d rather err on the side of caution for now.

As soon as my brain gets back into a fully working state I’ll resume some of my organizational efforts. There are a lot of rough edges in the game, on this Patreon page, and just in the project in general. I have a lot planned, and it’s going to take some time, and you might not even notice some of the improvements, but I believe it’s going to make the whole thing much smoother.

But let’s get back to the upcoming update. Here are the things you can expect. First of all, the main feature of the update - the next part of the Barmaids Dreams (lighting and postFX not finalized yet).

Then, there will be Lyriel getting really lost in her reading.

And the much-requested shower with Lyriel! (no sex in the shower yet, though)

Yeah, this update turned out very Lyriel-centric for some reason, but I’m sure most of you folks will be fine with it.
