0.4 Development Update 30

Well, guess what, more work happened and I didn’t get to the State of the Game post. Uhh, next week? Maybe?
The Alpha 2 took a bit longer than I hoped, the Cursed Event reared its ugly head. I call it a Cursed Event because I’ve been trying to write this one about three times already, and it always comes undone. Either we get it done with the two of us writers by the next update, or I’m binning it permanently. Or at least until much later.
v0.4.8 is now free, and I managed to get a compressed version built! Yay! Messed it up in the end and had to reencode all the videos twice (thanks, Git, for straight-up murdering my repo-in-an-ignored folder), but it seems to be working. I hope that with a generous helping of symlinks I’ll be able to keep most of my workflow while having a properly versioned lowres build available.
Not much work done on 0.4.10 yet, Jess is writing some of the new events, first batch of the render assignments went out to a 3D artist today, and I should be able to start on my share tomorrow. Lyriel is going to get her first sex scenes in the house, btw, no big deal.
Have some minor previews.
And see you soon! Oh, and I don’t know if I’ll get a CG set out this weekend, I’d rather work on the game, but we’ll see. Maybe something real small.

I hope that you are able to make it work! I found the last Caitlin "Event" for breakfast...amusing! Looking forward to 4.9 in another week or so! Even if ya don't get any art out, have a great weekend!
