[UPDATE] General content changes

Hey everyone👋, it's been a while since an update post like this, i'll try to not be too long but there is a lot of things i want to talk about.
Starting from today i will change approach on how i release sets, this is aimed to bring a little more variety and cycling characters faster than im currently doing, im sure it will make things more engaging and you'll feel im more active😅.

Just like in a game, there are buff and nerfs in order to get things balanced. (with all the in-depth reasonings after this summary)

   BALANCE CHANGES:
         
           NERFS
         - Poll winner sets -> fewer pictures (a minimum of 70 pcs and above instead of 150+)
         - Character's Showcase -> Removed
         
            BUFFS
         + More "Minisets" kind of galleries (groupsex, gimmiks, tribute to seasonal anime shows/games/other)
         + Reworked commissions tier wich will bring 30 pcs sets instead of 5

Dev note:
On a theoretical level, by reducing poll winner's set pcs and increasing minisets+commissions pcs i will spread and redinstribute my weekly content output in a more varied way, so not necessarely more or less.

Poll winner sets
Easily the main kind of content you are interested on, and will still take the biggest part of the pie.
The fact that these sets are completely decided by the community better reflects what the majority wants to see and to ensure that at least feels a little bit more special i always try to bring something new to those sets, wich could be a specific theme/scenarios, gimmiks, poses, outfits, locations i never done or made better, and trying to make many different kind of poses to get shown, thats the philosophy.

But why halve the amount of pictures? Few big reasons:
-What takes me the most amount of time is editing, the style and textures you see on the characters doesn't come out on generation but requires me to implant it let's say, i have to edit and retouch details multiple times for every single picture, doing very big sets doesn't go hand to hand with my workflow, in the sense that it takes a considerable and more unpredictable amount of time to make it come out, so by simply reducing the amount of pictures in a set i could be able to release it faster.
-The sets are big but there are many redundant poses, so basically i will just get rid of repeated poses archetypes, and by doing a minimum of 70ish pictures (still a good chunk imo) i think it will not hinder the indentity of a set.

Character's Showcase
Probably the most controversial change and i can imagine many of you will dislike it, i would like to remove it entirely.

The reason resides in the time consumed/return ratio wich is very bad in my prospective.
Every single character and models comes to a very wide variety of textures and settings to play around, since my objective is to implant my style as i explained earlier, sometimes is challenging and requires a lot of trial and error to get the details i want, it always took me an entire day to get it done as you have seen, all this work is somewhat meaningful for only the 5 winning characters out of 15, i say "somewhat" because, the character looks on the main sets, they almost never look the excact same anyway because each time i pick a new set to do i go through an additional testing session of a couple of hours just to make sure i can do it the best i can.

It was originally conceived after the "Shizuka flop" set many months ago, Shizuka was one of the winning character's and at the time i couldn't make her look the way i wanted and got pretty mad about it 😆, so the way i thought to avoid something like this to happen is to just test every single character in the poll and to show to you and give you an idea how it would look like.
Im aware that it was always something well recived and very useful for all of you, but right now i have more expertize on implanting the details i want and since i will opt for faster content releases i think for me it would just slow me down from other works.

The way i will deal with poll characters now is that i will still make a good check on models variety and availability, i can kinda tell the quality of them just by looking at sample pictures, in a catastrophic case wich i cannot make a winning character look good or has any other big issues, i will just tell you and pick the next most voted character in a poll, i can ensure i will always try to make what i think look best every character with my style.

Minisets
I thought about of just making poll winners one after another and just prioritize those, but i personally think those kind of chaotic sets brings a lot of that variety, unexpected and surprise factor wich i laked in the page, and gives me more flexibility on bringing whatever i can think of.

When i first introduced it, i said that i planned on presenting them between each poll winner sets, but the reality is, if i have commissions to do and the big sets are slow to make i was really having an hard time to fit them in, but in the light of the new changes i will be able to pull of them more consistently.

Then lenght of them may vary, like duo's characters usually takes more time to edit details in them so they will be shorter, things like the mixed pokegirls set is very easy and fast concept to do, in fact has 75 pcs, in terms of themes and locations they would be easier and already done concepts to make them faster unless im going for a specific idea in mind.
I have many other "gimmiks" ideas i want to show you, im not entirely sure of factuability for some of them but i will try, they are very fun for me to do and hope you'll find them interesting!
Also thought about just normal solo character sets, or multiples but single per picture, of maybe if there is a seasonal anime show trending in popularity, i could just make a miniset out of it instead of waiting that somebody asks me as suggestions, putting in a poll and pray for that character to win right? All of this is also for flexibility.

Commissions
Until now the normal commissions were about 5 pictures made in a very customizable way, going as close as i can to what the customer wants to see, and this, depending what im getting asked can take some time, because ai is really good at spamming a lot images, but when you want to go very specific it can struggle to give what you want and often need additional work around it, i think from these came out really really good ideas to see, but you are so many supporters now, i have to think also to give a more sizable content to all of you, so this change is aimed to be a more appealing post for everyone since it's composed by more pictures.

Details of the new tier may be subject to change, but very likely it will briefly consist of requesting a set of 30 pictures of a character choosen, can ask for general positions or poses would like to see, and if it's not too abnormal outfit and location, so a more generic kind of request instead of a super specific one, that is to ensure i can prepare more pictures in an efficent manner, more details to come.

The new tier will most likely come with a proper post next month, i will update the current one so peoples already subbed can keep it if they want to, i'll see how i can manage everything and if i can handle it correct i would slowly open new spots.

CONCLUSIONS

Im very confident these changes are for the better and you would like it more this way, but i can say if anything goes wrong or i see with time you dont like this approach i can go back to what i was doing until now or change again in no time.
