"Hug" Comic + Explanation

Comic Explanation: Moo is representative of a group of things; most interpretations re autism, childhood self and trauma, imagination, and dissociation. My characters for the purpose of the narrative can easily be seen as alters or parts of a system.

Moo is integral to keeping spirits high and many notice that he does a lot of emotional load bearing- which is true. He's the child that had to grow up to fast, and thus characters can recognize that treatment and potentially reflect on that. But most are too caught up in their own emotional issues.

In a previous comic "someone like you" I explored a bit of Moo and Bun's relationship, where Moo is not only pushed away, but actively criticized for "choosing to be childish sooner than face reality" While bun is harsh, it is a ironically a trigger that causes Moo to self isolate and fall into maladaptive daydreaming.

I'm sorry I'm ot as consistent as I'd really like to be, I don't know if its obvious by now but I have like, severe ADHD lol. But I get to make art that I enjoy and so even if I'm not a good content creator, I'm an artist first. Thank you for supporting me.

I literally would not have the ability to do any of this without the sticker club. I'd have to get a second job and wouldn't have any time for art. I'm so beyond thankful i get to do this and I hope one day I can get better enough to be a decent content creator with like a schedule and things that normal people with working executive function have, but until then, I'm doing my best. I really am. Thank you for believing in me.
