The Widowmaker animation is quite long and will take a while to finish. So to break up the monotony of it, I started work on this side project.
It's going to be a short one, just a few seconds. I'm not gonna go too crazy with it either ... just want it to look good in these two angles and that's it. Also want to see how fast I can finish something like this.
Finding a pose that works was quite tricky btw. Spent the entirety of yesterday's stream fiddling with a pose only to end up tossing it :X
With the pose in place I already started animating the base loop. Soldier's animation is done, Mercy is about a third complete, I'd say. Mind you that's just the 9-frame base loop. Gotta loop it and layer more animation on top after.

2017-07-03 21:32:04 +0000 UTCThere's some thought behind that actually ^^ By pulling her left arm, I can twist her chest, making the whole pose a bit more interesting. If he pulled her left arm with his left arm, it'd block even more and wouldn't give enough reason to twist her chest this much.
