My friends, the camouflage is on and it was wayyy less painful than I anticipated! Compared to the desert-black camouflage on the Crusader it was a total breeze.
There's not that much to say here actually... I made a quick camo profile in Photoshop this morning and used that as a guide. The basic black tone seen in the last 3 photos is a mixture of black and white in some ratio, about 80/20. Then I kept adding Deck Tan to lighten it up for all the highlights. I didn't do any "airbrushed pinwash" on these parts mainly because I wanted a different look than the more faded OD underneath, and also because it would take a long time with very little effect.
I also went ahead and added some markings. These were sourced from different Dragon decal sheets, one comes from the T95 and the other one is totally unknown. I wanted 3rd Armored division markings so I had to build up the numbers individually, and the triangles were sprayed through a photo-etched mask from Lion Roar.
All it needs now is a coat of satin varnish and it's ready for weathering, but I'll do that tomorrow as I didn't want to make too much noise in the middle of the night π
