Daily update
Added 2020-01-25 00:08:52 +0000 UTCTiger has the sexiest weld beads. You know it's gonna be something special when the weld is thicker than the armor plate 😁I actually had to make a new, bigger welding tool for this model.
Other than that, today was weird. I wasted like 2 hours with those spare track holders trying to get them aligned correctly. Funny thing is when you look at last update I had them glued in a completely wrong position. I glued them like that even on the "old" version of this model and I'm shocked that nobody noticed it in that one Youtube video (considering how people will often nitpick even the smallest thing on Youtube).
I also had to do some other stuff today so my original plan to weld the entire tank was pretty much shattered, but... I guess I'll (try) to do it tomorrow. Then add some of those shell impacts. One is visible in the real photos, the rest is gonna be just my imagination. It supposedly had more impacts on the front and right side, but that's the only info I was able to find.
In other news, my bud Alex from Solidscale is already working on airbrush stencils for the hand-painted F13 markings on the turret. Those had a white outline and the inside was most likely filled with Olive Green! This tank is really crazy.

It actually might be the putty - I used to work with Magic Sculpt which is similar to Milliput and the weld texture wasn't exactly what I wanted, even though I was using the same tools. That putty also didn't stick well to the plastic, so it was often really frustrating when instead of texturing it just tore away from the model.

So I have to make a lot of welding by myself, but I'm far away from your quality. Maybee it's because I'm using Milliput, maybee it's the wrong tool or well I think it's just me at the end :) I'm really hiped to see the coloursheme on your Tiger 👍
