Curious about what you think of spring drives going into more seiko divers? Does this diminish the Grand Seiko name? Does it elevate the Seiko name? I personally feel it’s a bad move. Seiko is so popular because you can get a great reliable diver with beautiful finishing for $300-$400. Spending $5k on a seiko (even with spring drive) makes me think first, why don’t I just get an omega, and second, why don’t I just spend a little more and get a grand seiko? Thoughts? Am I totally misreading this brand?
