How does he manage to blend hopefullness and deep painfullness yet leaves me standing at the end? Beyond even his talent, he’s courageous. I don’t naturally gravitate toward rap, but his style is beautiful storytelling. I’ve heard one other of his, the Verve’s Bittersweet Symphony one, and loved it, but I can tell he’s an artist I’ll have to measure myself before I choose to experience another performance of his. But yes, definitely will seek out more from Ren. Definitely. Yes.
