Work is in progress. Murmillo in the first picture is almost finished. I think it will be completed after a little modification (the back of the shield and some detail).
The second picture is Hoplomachus. I'm currently working on the pants, but this is taking a long time. This design reminds me of Michelin bibendum.
Here's the current plan. After they're both done, I'm thinking about giving them another weapon. [Double Sword, or Trident] It might not suit on historical outfit. So, I'm still thinking about making more variation or not.

I think breaking from historical accuracy in minor ways should be fine if it makes the piece better from an art or collection standpoint. This things are meant to be printed and painted, after all. I know I tossed around the idea of a smaller shield for the sword character. Just personally, I wouldn't want a shield blocking 80% of the work I put in printing and painting a figurine. They look great though! I'm excited for this one.
