I understand if you may not recognize me, as I am new to my Lord's party. I am Ceres of Sorentina, a [Magic Knight] at your service.
Cannoli encouraged me to pen this missive since Ravyn has also participated in these letters. I hope you do not mind hearing from me - Cannoli's bubbly nature is quite contagious.
She has done well in her artistic studies these past few days. Today she chose to depict me in a favorite recreational activity of mine.
I enjoy building toys for kittens. My father taught me how to create and assemble ships inside glass bottles when I was very young. While I did not understand the appeal then, I now find them to be quite beautiful. I also sculpt wooden figures of sweeter Encroachers - like Buttons, for example - and create dollhouses.
I imagine this may be mundane reading and for that, I sincerely apologize. I thank you for your time and Cannoli for the opportunity to write.

You're not an idiot, give yourself some credit. She's very late to the game and it's been fun to develop her. I'm glad her character is coming across more clearly - you weren't the only one with doubts.

2022-03-17 21:20:58 +0000 UTCThinking about Ceres some more, I realize I’m an idiot. She’s a Magic Knight, true to the word Knight. She’d give her life to keep Matt alive, and very nearly did. She’s studying alchemy so she can hopefully avert another event like the one that near claimed their lives. She’s that dedicated to preserving her lord. She even has her own code of ethics, as far as I can tell. Or at least, something approaching one. And yet, somehow I didn’t realize it earlier.
