HotFix: If you already downloaded the previous v0.06.2, I've attached a game.zip file to this post that will upgrade you to v0.06.3. Just download that, unzip it, and drag the files in that folder into your Str8Remake/Game folder and replace. If you downloaded the android version of v0.06.2, you'll need to redownload the v0.06.3. I can't patch android.

Hey, folks. So here's the first half of Chapter 3 that gets us through the swim team tryouts and a bit after. I think it looks good and is a major upgrade from the original. New music, new sounds, new routes, new choices throughout the day to give you both the freedom/control of the day leading up to it as well as trying to preserve the original repeating dialogue that we saw in the old version. I think it's a nice balance and I believe all of the old discussions are still present in the story. Hope you enjoy.
The other good news is that I have a really good start on the outline for v0.07 so I'm hoping it will go smoother than the initial organization for this one. As always, I appreciate all of you. Thank you, again, for continuing to support this project and for sticking with me.

i'm working on it now. Good news is that I redid the outline for this update plus the one I'm working on together so that will save time for this next update. Right now, I'm probably around 30% done with it but the majority of the CG work is at the end so we'll see how involved that is yet. I haven't even gotten in the headspace for those scenes yet. I'm just trying to get the easy stuff done first. It shouldn't be super long tho unless I add a bunch of new stuff.

2023-07-06 17:30:21 +0000 UTCyeah, sorry about all the hotfix confusion. i just added some more stuff up there and updated all the links. I'd like to make a downloadable update that's just the update but unfortunately, so far, it's been more hassle than it's worth for me. usually at the end of my updates, i'm combing through the writing and stuff and that's my main focus. Trying to figure out which pics I added and which folders they go in would be pretty complicated and would probably open it up to bugs or missing things so i've never done it. i may look at it later in the revamp tho because the file will get very large just from the number of pictures in comparison to the original version

2023-07-06 03:03:08 +0000 UTCoh thanks a ton man. yeah, those underwater shots were some of the best shots i've done. from a technical standpoint, there's a lot going on there and i was super happy with them. kinda stylized and stuff and it took me like 3 days, lol. but i like them a lot. glad you liked the first half of the chapter. hopefully the second half wont take as long
