I was worried that this week’s scene—with its abundance of static cuts—might be uncomfortable for some of you to watch or that the genre itself might be off-putting. However, since it was a story-focused scene using VNGE cuts—a genre I’ve always wanted to try—I added it to the voting list as soon as the theme poll started.
It looks like in future polls, any themes that include the “many vnge cut” option will end up having a structure similar to this week’s scene.
On a side note, the deadline for this week’s scene was set for the 30th or 31st. I had originally planned to finish on the 30th, but on my way back from a day trip to my hometown, I was flooded with ideas. As a result, I spent an extra day working through the night to revise the scene and add more content.
Since this pushed our weekly schedule back by a day, I’ll work even harder on next week’s scene to get back on track with our original routine.
