Thank you all for the incredible support you've given this story so far.

Ray's journey, as we knew it, has been a tumultuous one, filled with hardship and loss. Now, that specific part of his story has finally come to an end. Yet, as this tale has sought to explore, nothing truly dies—it simply transforms.

At its core, this has been a story about being broken. We are all broken, each to a different degree. Not everyone is lucky enough to be born into a wealthy or loving family. Not everyone has the luxury of friends, money, or even peace of mind. We all navigate our own hardships, and in facing them, we inevitably change. Some of us are forged into something stronger, others are worn down into something new.

And that is the heart of this story: we are always changing.

This tale could have gone in many directions—perhaps with more action, perhaps at a different pace. It’s not perfect, and it’s far from a masterpiece. But my deepest hope is that somewhere along the way, it made you feel something. An echo of feeling that stayed with you, that changed a small part of you, even if just for a moment.
