Returning
Added 2023-10-19 15:08:41 +0000 UTCAnother thing with overcast lighting. Initially I didn't have much of an idea, but once I'd sketched out the rough line art the rest fell into place fairly easily. Most of the frustration came from trying to find a way to make the background seem interesting. Initially I thought it might look cool if all the trees were pointy pine trees lined up uniformly so that they resembled monster teeth. After fiddling about with that idea for a while I decided it just looked too flat, so I added some shape variation along with some breaks in the tree line so that the horizon beyond can be seen.
