I don't claim to know everything, but I have had certain experiences. I have been a professional entertainer. I have performed in small one-night venues, large theaters, and one arena. I have worked for the largest entertainment corporation in the world, in various roles. I have created content under contract for large companies, and independently, which was then licenced by large companies.
I've seen no evidence that anyone is in control of anything.
