2022-06-16 16:45:12 +0000 UTCI think one of the reasons friends is so good is because it was filmed in front of a live audience, the cast and crew would contemplate the audience reactions and try out different jokes / different scenarios to see which one worked best and which got the best audience reactions to edit and use. I don't think there are any sitcoms now that would spend so much money and take so much time to do this to make it great.
