Get too close to a black hole and it smushes you and strings you out...the term is "spagettification" I like that in the end, they all seem to forget they're not their actual characters....and just DO THEIR JOBS. Jason comes up with a kickass plan as what he would likely have done on the show, showing that he's actually pretty damn smart, and a natural leader. Tommy realizes the plan without saying it, and turns into a confident pilot. Gwen repeats the computer....and over the entire course of the movie her uniform just...comes apart...Alex says his line with no outward resentment. Guy doesn't die. (Easter Egg: During the scene where Serris shoots everybody, he's the only one who doesn't get shot) (And he never takes damage during the movie) And in the end, it pays off, he gets a last name.
