Update on the Update on the Update
Added 2019-12-09 10:57:23 +0000 UTCI never understood the 90/10 rule of programming until I started trying to make a game. The rule, as I understand it, is: 90% of the work takes 90% of the time, the last 10% also takes 90% of the time.
The current update consists of somewhere north of 25,000 lines of code, and it may be significantly larger when I'm done. I've been working as much as I can to sort through it all and chase game-breaking bugs, but it's getting to the point where my brain feels like it's melting. It's an odd feeling staying up all night working, and experiencing genuine anger, not at the rising sun and waking world, but at your own body's ever growing need for sleep because caffeine can only do so much and it's impacting your ability to focus and you don't want to risk losing everything you've got in your head at the moment because you know it's going to take you at least half an hour to really get back to speed when you get back to your broken code the next night and you're finally making real progress.
I won't say when exactly the update will be ready, largely because I genuinely can't, but I want you guys to know that I'm working as quickly as possible, and I'll at least have something for you guys before Christmas.

It's out now, he added a new character and a ton of content. Sadly the new character isn't as interesting as the main girl, but I guess plenty of people will enjoy the variety.

So much work!!!!! Once my translation is done, I like to lose myself playing for hours breaking the bitch again. I am so excited to be able to play this game and its new content again. Good luck with that.
