When lindsay said, "maybe if I get an acting coach or my hair and nails done, ill be on the cover" that was the censored version. The uncensored version had lindsay say, "maybe if I get an eating disorder or my boobs done, ill be on the cover." Which i think is WIIIIILD🤣

2025-03-17 21:49:08 +0000 UTCI just realized now that Playa de Losers was probably the resort the campers were told they would be staying at at the beginning of the show, except only the losers get to go. With that said, i was so frustrated with how Leshawna’s elimination was handled here. I get there was behind-the-scenes reasons the VA couldn’t continue, but there were still a hundred different ways they could have written this better and it really made me dislike Chris than the show should’ve.

2025-03-17 20:49:08 +0000 UTCSo for the record the "Leshawna's voice actor was busy" thing that you'll likely be hearing is actually just a widespread rumor in the fandom, completely untrue. Leshawna was always meant to be eliminated at final five. What actually seems to have happened is that the episode was *supposed* to be a fashion challenge, hence the episode title, Haute Campture. Apparently it involved the campers walking a runway over a pit of crocodiles. The plot of the episode was supposed to include Owen being caught in-between the alliances of Duncan/Heather & Gwen/Leshawna. It is thought that either A) Owen would end up joining Heather/Duncan to vote off Leshawna for being the biggest threat or B) Heather would win immunity and get to choose who is eliminated, picking Leshawna. (IMO either option would have been infinitely better than the elimination we got for her! If she wasn't going to win she at least deserved a decent elimination!) The episode was reworked because they wanted to do a losers episode, but they still needed to eliminate Leshawna, hence the strange twist that got rid of her. Or at least that's what has been pieced together based on the storyboards and episode descriptions that have been found of the original episode. So yeah, no truth to the Leshawna VA myth, and in fact there are similarly false rumors made up about other characters in later seasons too.

Like they couldn't make the black woman have a fair vote? But instead they had everyone vote for her because they liked her, or because of an accident of saying her name. I'm not sure if the writers thought people would get sensitive with people intentionally and purposely voting for the black person, but I'm more offended by this tbh. And I still think Leshwana and Lindsay had the most unfair eliminations in TDI because of Chris's backwards logic
