Update
Added 2016-12-10 20:21:08 +0000 UTCHad to take a little break due to some health issues, but I'm back on track right now. The material is ALMOST ready, one last thing is to iron out one pesky bug and that should be it.
I the meantime, here's an Orion Runners update:
I managed to write some very useful and fun code, and here's what I've got:
- inventory and equipment management: you can have up to 11 pieces of clothing on your character, each with different stats and effects (torso, legs, gloves, boots, head, mouth, pussy, ass, panties, bras, overalls), some of them might be "locked", like chastity belts or gags and other devices
- improved map creation algorithms, now maps look much more sophisticated and fun
- created The Factory: this is a module responsible for creating traps and enemies. It generates random combinations of enemies from pre-made elements, with different stats, abilities and looks, rates them how they did against the player and improves /upgrades them for later encounters. This should make the game more fresh each time you try it out!
- simplified the character creation process a bit (will post a screenshot tomorrow)
As you can see - there's not much to show right now, as most of it is just a bunch of lines of code, but believe me - it's fun looking at things that the game can generate and improvise. Like a tentacle sentinel bot that tried to grab me and pump me full of artificial semen, even if it was the wrong hole (need to fix that... or not) or a centaur-like creature codenamed just V032_cpo1 that literally wrecked my stuff, it was so OP. Upon examination it was heavily armored, had additional IQ and perception boosting chips installed and an agressive-type AI applied to it's V4 brain part. Definitely not something I should encounter on the first floor. :P I won't say what it did once it captured me after I failed beating it, but it left me in a seriously bad shape...
Anyway, it's just fun, seeing what the game can generate and throw at me even at this early point of developement. I hope to share it really soon, but it's still a lot of work. I assume that in max two weeks time I should have a playable demo (first floor). Until then... thank you so much for the surprisingly growing support! It really gives me the opportunity to work harder on both my 3D stuff and the game in the meantime!
