Friday Update

Well, in my famous last words... that took longer than expected. Anyways, here is the primary sexual ability page. Aylia's image is not the one that will be there in the end, but I have not drawn it yet so this one will work for now. Here's how this will all work:

There are five primary sexual related abilities (as you can see). Aylia will start with "unknown" in each and as she gains experience will progress to discovered-->experienced-->expert. Her skill level will impact scene dialogue and how satisfied people are. It will also impact the effectiveness of her battle-related skills.

What these will not be is artificial gating. What I mean is this will not be a cookie-cutter system where you progress to level 1 in oral and unlock new scenes, level 2 and unlock even more, etc. I've played plenty of games that use a similar system, and while it works, it's always frustrated me a bit. What I want is for players to have the ability to choose what Aylia engages in and based on that choice her sexual abilities will improve and you can see that improvement. What I don't want is for players to be forced to whore Aylia out at every opportunity just to unlock the next level of a sex ability so they can see more scenes.

I came to this decision based on my own experiences. Often, when I play h-games I have ideas how I'd like my character to act. For example, if someone is treating my character like shit, maybe I don't want her to give in to their desires. Unfortunately, in many games that means I will be missing some necessary sex stat points and new scenes won't unlock unless I go against my desire and have her give in. My goal is to NOT do that here. You don't like how creepy the Mayor is towards Aylia? That's fine, tell him to piss off and have Aylia get the upper hand against him. The only impact it may have is Aylia may still be inexperienced when she runs into the next scene later in the game. Her dialogue will represent that, but you'll still get the scene.

Hope that makes sense. I feel like this will be a really fun system, and part of the delay in getting this menu teaser out was I wanted to have the whole thing fleshed out enough that I could show you and talk about it. I've already done a first pass through all the scenes currently in the game and set them up for this system. Primarily, it was making sure that Aylia's "first" times doing this are represented correctly. I'm a big fan of shyness, so it makes for some fairly erotic content in my mind to write a bunch of different "firsts" for Aylia. :-)

I feel not having choices in H Games or in any games in general is a bad design, us players wont feel like we got any power to change anything and better off to judt watch a playthrough

Having a choice in an H game is much better then being locked into a scenario. Sometimes it can be really hot to have the heroine completely fallen, but other times it sucks because they suddenly over came X for X reason and then they are force right back down the fallen path. I would rather be able to pick and choose how far she goes depending on the mood. Plus, it's nice to get the heart warming heroic ending in a H game too.

Wow. ALL of that sounds (and looks) awesome. Really like your approach. Lot of work to implement, but the payoff in terms of immersion and 'roleplayability' is very likely to make it so worthwhile. Looking very much forward to the next release. Thanks for the update!

Looks great and im glad that dialouges changes depends on her experiences! I just hope corruption will be slow and doesnt seem rushed Btw how long do you think you can release the next update?
