Hello everyone! First, thank you so much for donating to my little endeavor! If you're here, I am assuming you liked the prologue to Aylia's Story and want to see more! I wanted to start the creation's off with information on the battle system I am putting together and a mock-up of what it will look like. The following are what I am aiming for: 1. Aylia's Story will use a battle system similar to Ariadne, if you have played it. The character has stamina (used for skills and attacks), HP and MP. Stamina is restored after each battle and starts at "50" unless you have items equipped which change that. Battle, sex appeal and support skills may also consume MP, which does not automatically restore after battle. So, casting "heal" may cost 20 stamina and 5 MP. Additionally, A character portrait will be displayed based on the outfit Aylia is wearing (standard fare here). This portrait will vary based on the outfit chosen, and will change if Aylia is hit with a clothing attack. 2. That leads me to clothing attacks. Certain monsters will attempt to disrobe Aylia in outfit specific ways. This replaces the idea of "clothing destruction" you see in other games. In chapter 1, some monsters will attempt to pull Aylia's dress down, exposing her breasts (hell yes!). If they succeed, her character portrait will change to display her undressed state. When in that state, those monsters will then attempt to take advantage of that exposure. 3. The other "H" aspect you can expect are through sex appeal skills. I plan to do another update this week detailing some of the skill options Aylia will be able to learn, and how those skills will be learned. 4. You may have noticed that horny little bastard Bogwort, hiding in the corner. Bogwort's role in battles will be different than most RPG Maker characters. Instead of being a standard party member, Bogwort's role in battle consists of two primary functions (advice and support). When his turn roles around, you can have him give you advice (although, it is questionable how helpful he will actually be!), you can have him cast a support skill (limited to a specific number of times per battle), or he can simply remain in hiding. Whelp, that is what I am working on currently. I'm trying to get most of the graphical elements in place, albeit slowly because my scripting knowledge sucks. Let me know what you all think of the HUD design?
