On the 23-year-old rookie's winning plays
By: Caitlin Cooper I @C2_Cooper
In what was a 98-94 win for the Summer Pacers, Enrique Freeman finished with five points on 2--of-6 shooting. As such, he wasn't as efficient putting the ball in the basket on low-volume as Jarace Walker, who scored 19 on seven shots. He didn't go 8-of-8 at the line like Tristen Newton, and he isn't going to fire away from deep as often as a 4-of-11 shooting Johnny Furphy, but the 23-year-old ball of non-stop energy started at the four, closed at the five, and made a bunch of winning plays in between that explain why he was part of both units at different positions.
For more on the player of the game and how he played big by doing the little things, here are the relevant timestamps -- which also include the play of the game from Jarace Walker. Enjoy!
