Roundista / Stylista ADDONS??!!
Added 2023-03-02 08:17:47 +0000 UTCHey everyone, first of all thanks for all the support! Today I just want to let everyone know about what's coming in future and how the texture packs will be improved.
Both Simplista and Roundista's Block textures will hopefully be completed by the end of this year, because of this I will be starting to work on stuff like GUI, Items, Mobs and etc. maybe even sounds who knows.
Also I've been thinking about seperating some parts from the texture pack to addons, why-
So let's a Currently we have Roundista 512x running on Java edition at 52fps, which is not the best experience for the user running it, well Roundista is already developing at it's best so how can the performance be improved? That's where seperating the parts of packs comes in.
Now let's say we seperate the Models, CTM Textures, etc. By doing that we reduce the number of textures and file size in main/base pack and improving performance while still allowing the user to use the addons we separated from the base pack to imrpove experince at performance cost.
Personally I really would like to proceed with this, it would also be easier for me to manage the pack this way and also maybe do mod support in the future, although I won't lie the support had gone down in since I made the 128x packs free and after seperating the pack I am thinking about only offering the addons to the patrons this way the premium packs would have something more to offer then just upscaled resolution.
Let me know what you guys this about this! Always happy to discuss changes like this over on my discord but also now starting to here as I have good amount of users with me on this platform.

Thanks for sharing an advanced feedback, so far everyone seems to agree with this and if it continues I’ll start working on separating the packs from next month

2023-03-03 17:52:57 +0000 UTCI have a Laptop SPECS: CPU :-> i7 11800H with 4.6GHz All core turbo (Liquid Metal) GPU :-> RTX 3070 Max-Q with Core clock at 2GHZ and Mem Clock at 7.2GHz (145 Watt vBios) RAM :-> 16GB DDR4 3200MHz STORAGE :-> Samsung 980 NVMe 1TB I have minecraft java with IRIS + SODIUM + Astralex Shader (Borderland+) with High settings, not ultra or extreme. I have minimalista, simplista. roundista 256x, stylista 256x. at 1080p the game runs at solid 60 to 70 FPS. The temps are fairly controlled with liwuid metal and DIY external water cooling. CPU :-> 60 to 65C GPU :-> 55 to 60C I would love to see some performance bump and get my fps to at least 90.

The Bedrock marketplace charges far more than any of your tiers for subscription here for mediocre at best x16 packs. Not sure about x32, but regardless it’s nothing like your x128. It’s a pleasure to be able to support you through Patreon and I look forward to new updates! Keep up the good work! You should make some showcase videos that explore the textures a bit more and maybe even a Timelapse build that showcases your favorite textures and color palettes with Roundista! I found Roundista from a video that had like 1k views.
