Added 2023-01-02 01:26:50 +0000 UTCHappy New Year everyone! Here's a bonus episode that we recently sat down to record. We wanted to expand upon a couple of filmmaking documentaries that we profiled on our previous movie catch-up, American Movie & Overnight.
American Movie is a 1999 documentary about a Wisconsin independent filmmaker named Mark Borchardt, while Overnight tells the story of first time filmmaker Troy Duffy as he makes his debut with The Boondock Saints. Both are really different yet similar stories about the struggles that come with making movies. This discussion also got us on the topic of film school and our own experiences studying film. We'd love to hear from any of you that also studied film in college and what you thought of the experience.
