Game Development [NEW TIER INCOMING]

Hey kids, it’s Bobo clogging up your newsfeed again, this time with a pretty big announcement!

As I’m sure you’re aware, I’ve taken on a lot of projects since I started here. Whether you’re reading this on Ko-Fi, Patreon, or DeviantArt, y’all have been getting monthly updates from me since February! I’m super proud of what I’ve accomplished here, but I’m much prouder of my readers, donors, patrons, commissioners, and et cetera who have helped me find such rousing success on these platforms!

I’d like to think that we’ve all gotten to know each other pretty well over these months—in that time, I’d like to think that I’ve stressed not only my ability to remain affordable, but also very transparent with you all about what you get and when you’ll get it. I take my contributor base very seriously, and try to give you as much notice as possible when it comes down to financial things involving YOUR money.

It is in the spirit of that transparency that I’m announcing a new tier—one specifically for game development on projects like Coven of Calahree, Cicada Springs, and the Untitled Buttercombe Academy Project.

But unfortunately, this new tier will only be available on Patreon.

It is ONLY because Ko-Fi doesn’t have an interface for tiered levels of patronage, or I’d be doing it there too. I try to make things as simple as possible for y’all, but sometimes my hands get tied down to one platform. Should Ko-Fi introduce a similar feature, you can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll implement it there too.

You’re still going to have access to everything that you always have. Nothing is going to change—in fact, you’ll still get little sneak peeks on those projects now and then (like I did when I posted the Bad End of Chapter 2 a few days ago!). This is just an announcement for people who may be interested in even MORE content from me. I’m telling you this now so if you DO choose to migrate, you will have ample time to avoid paying back to back.

If you don’t like games or aren’t interested, this doesn’t affect you in the slightest—you’re free to disregard this message.

For those of you who ARE interested in the $5 tier on Patreon, here is the complete list of benefits that you’ll be receiving:

-Everything from the previous tier (Early Access, Exclusive Stories, Monthly Exclusives, Mix & Match)

-Live access to games as they’re developed

-sprite work

-creative input on NPCs/Layout/Storyboarding

And, for those of you who want to give me a little more help, I’ll also be introducing a limited monthly tier for $20, which will receive:

-everything from the previous two tiers

-1 custom NPC added to the game, as per specifications, with dialogue options

-1 1000 word commissioned piece.

This will go into effect DECEMBER FIRST, with an updated slot on the Barista Board to remind you.
