Before diving into the details, I want to apologize for the delay in this release, which was originally scheduled for early April. Unfortunately, potential legal issues with Tapas & similar official websites demanded immediate attention, and I had to dedicate time to rewriting parts of the code to address these challenges. While it meant removing automatic support for certain functionalities, this shift opened the door to something even greater—the introduction of better external script support.

With the new system in place, users can now create and maintain their own custom scripts, providing limitless possibilities to personalize and enhance the program according to their needs. To help you get started, I’ve created a step-by-step guide on how to develop these external scripts. This extra effort added a couple of weeks of work, but I believe it was time well spent to empower you with greater flexibility and control.

As always, my next couple of weeks will be dedicated solely to addressing any bugs that arise from large-scale usage. During this period, please expect no nightly builds, as my focus will be on ensuring stability and improving the program's robustness for everyone. Once the situation with quick bug fixes stabilizes, I will resume working on the next version of Manga Downloader with new nightly builds as always. Rest assured, thanks to your ongoing support, this project remains vibrant and alive, and I’m excited to continue innovating together.
