You can tell how Frank feels about Micro. He doesn't like him, he gets annoyed by everything he says and does. He judges micro for getting himself in trouble and leaving his family. He fights with Micro on multiple occasions and consistently violate franks orders: Crashing into Madani He forces frank to agree to involve Madani He confronts Madani alone and share their findings Frank told him he betrayed him and their partnership was over, until he saw the Lieberman's in danger. He violates franks orders and tells Madani where to find him, Rawlins and Russo. And uses that knowledge to try an keep frank conscious. I don't think anybody else could act that way around frank and get away with it. Frank not only tolerates it but saves Micro and his family reuniting them in the process. Frank may not have liked micro but he loved him like a older brother. He was like a uncle to his kids, talking books with Leo and encouraging her repairing skills, he scared Zack straight about the knife, he got though to him and learned why he was suffering. He then comforted him and they ended up playing catch. It a great thing for a person to care for and protect a person they know and like, but frank cared for an protected a stranger he didn't like. You can take the man out the marines but you cant take the marine out the man. it's in his nature to fight for and protect those who can't fight for or protect themselves. he's not capable of turning his back to innocent people suffering at the hands of bad people. " A man has right to Defend himself and defend those who can't" Frank Castle comic quote He explained in Daredevil 2x3 when he's got Grotto and he's put a gun in Matt's hands, he gives him the choice of A) Kill frank to save Grotto or B) do nothing and let frank kill Grotto. Frank: either You kill me or you let me kill him, either way you're a killer. Matt: What kind of choice is that? Frank: the kind I make every time i pull the trigger. He feels that by sparing murderers he's responsible for everything they do after that. No such thing as clean hands, it's just a question of who's blood do you want on you hands. infact In my opinion, the selfish emotional preoccupation with keeping your hands clean (for your own moral reasons) had led to more bloodshed. There a good metaphor there about if you want to clean something up properly, you'll likely get your hands dirty. Hard to clean up a mess if you wont get your hands dirty. Mess can not be created nor destroyed it can only moved to a new place. wow this is good stuff lol not my rambling lol, but the smoke i had before i decided to write a comment........about 5 months ago haha

Oh man, thanks for that reminder. That is super tragic. Frank is such a complex character with so much going on. Those are some gnarly gloves. 👀

If you remember back in Daredevil season 2, when Karen is talking to the nurse who was with him when they pulled the plug, the first thing he did when he came around was to say he wanted to go home. Also in his conversation with Matt in the graveyard, he said when he came home, he was too tired to do any of the things he wanted to do... including taking his wife to bed. If you put that together with what we saw in this episode...what it tells me is that, when he woke up the next morning, he and Maria had that conversation that had been teased all throughout the earlier parts of the season in his dreams...where he sees what him being away and coming back so wrecked does to her...and he tells her he's not going back. I'm pretty sure the mental flashes of them having sex are from between that convo and them going to the park...I think he's flashing back to the last time they were together...just hours before he lost her...and then every single time he finds himself hovering on the threshold between this world and the next, he has that same conversation and chooses to stay in this life...only to instantly regret it the moment he's back in his body and asks to go "home" to Maria. Fucking tragic. The gloves Rawlins was beating on him with are sap gloves...they're weighted with basically powdered steel or lead, so it magnifies the user's punching power...think of it like a blackjack or a sock full of quarters but built into a punch...like brass knuckles gone stealth mode.

Thank you for saving me typing a bunch of that. I've already got enough to type, haha.

When Frank is killing rawlins and he looks at Billy and they both look at each other and almost nod, to me it’s then acknowledging that right now they are on the same side, but as soon as rawlins is dead they’re gonna be gunning for each other. So they take a final moment to look at each other as Allies because despite how they hate each other they still brothers. Also it’s missed in the subtitles but when Frank is beating rawlins he scream “I’m a reminder, all men die”. I love how he’s taking what micro taught him about the philosophical affirmation of the memento mori and Frank has re purposed it as a threat. “No matter how powerful Or smart or strong you think you may be, if you prey on the innocent, you’ll die as easily as anyone else. And while Frank was being tortured and he was flashing to thinking about being in bed with his wife that wasn’t random, it’s a sere method for resisting interrogations and torture. To mentally place yourself in a blissful environment to distract yourself from the pain and fear.

Yea......Told you that this series is the most gruesome of the Marvel Shows and shockingly still not the worst one in my opinion though you may disagree since you hate eye stuff. Personal favorite scene is David talking to Frank as he was dying. The friendship they have built this season between them has really paid off. Next episode hype.
