Aug + Sept Plan

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I have a handful of things that I want to chat about real quick as we approach the start of August! Feel free to ask any questions that come to mind down in the comments. 😎

September

• If you've missed it being mentioned before, I am taking the whole month of Sept off from recording/editing and doing a big international trip (Europe! First time! Wee!) I received a very generous gift from my family that needed to be used before the end of this year and in typical KL fashion, I've left using it to nearly the last minute haha. 🙃 It has been 9 years since I last had a month off from work/university and I have to say I'm really looking forward to this.

• Reactions will continue to release both on Patreon and YouTube during Sept and I've been working hard towards that. I'm also using this opportunity to get my Clueless and Glass Onion reactions back on the channel, because those were removed a long time ago.

• The Sept MotM Draw will happen on the same day as the Oct one: on Oct 5 after I'm back.

August

• Schedules: yeaaah I've realized I can't really commit to weekly schedules right now while I'm also working on videos to share during Sept, plus still onboarding a brand new editor. So much work, so little time. So this month I will share the next "Coming Next" post once all the reactions from the last one have been shared, and that's the case starting now. This is just for August though! The schedules will be back to weekly on Mondays starting on Sept 1. I am a super busy bee over here and really appreciate your patience! 🐝💛

• Polls: these will be going on a temporary hiatus. If the member who wins the Aug Member of the Month draw this Friday submitted a poll, then that will be the last one. But if they didn't, then the last poll that you all just voted on is the last one. Face/Off was the winner of that, by the way! Thanks for voting!

  • If you haven't entered August's MotM draw yet, you can do so here.

• Reactr Requests: I'm not sure when I will close my Reactr page to new requests, but that will likely happen just before mid-August. I still have some requests to complete at the moment, so the offerings will open up a bit later this week (one slot for each).

  • PS. I've implemented a new rule for my Reactr page that requestors cannot submit multiple requests at a time, as in please wait until your current request is delivered to you before requesting another. This is to keep things fair and allow others to get a request in to me! Thank you!

• Twitch Streams: I will try my best to keep going live over the next three weeks, but these streams are a hobby, so they may be cancelled if I need the extra time to do reaction work.

MCU Phase 5 Fans

• I know that I have stuck to the release order this whole time so far and as much as I don't want to change that, I also don't want to completely abandon the MCU for nearly three months in a row because there is so much TV that makes up the rest of this phase. So I'm trying to decide between two options and I'd appreciate your input:

  • First Option: I do not abandon the release order which means that What If...? Season 2 and Echo will be the only MCU content throughout Aug and Sept.

  • Second Option: I skip over all of the TV shows (just for now) and react to and share Deadpool & Wolverine, Captain America: Brave New World, and Thunderbolts* throughout Aug and Sept. I've confirmed that I don't need to watch any of the shows that I haven't yet seen prior to these movies, so What If...? / Echo / Agatha will be fall/winter releases.

    • I am personally leaning towards this second option, but your input is important to me! Unfortuantely, I will not have a chance to watch all of the "you should watch these" movies before DP&W if we go with the second option.

I'm sitting here trying to think if there is anything else that I need to share and I don't think so. I'm personally trying not to PANIC 😅 but it's fine, everything is fine! I got this!
