Really quickly before I watch the finale and post actual important thoughts on that post but I loved that you also briefly were shipping Jonas and Silja. Because I did too and so the reveal that they were half-siblings kind of killed me. That’s a bridge too far, even for Jonas. LOL
Also I love that in 2040 Elisbeth’s right hand/interpreter is a teenage version of her own great grandmother (and also grandmother as well I guess, right?)… There are a lot of people who meat a tragic end and have a tough journey, but I’ve always felt pretty bad for Silja. She’s a minor character but she just got a raw deal at every turn.

Yes, I'm so hyped to rewatch with full understanding of Noah. S1 scenes are gonna hit so different.

I love the music moment near the end of the episode, probably my favourite in the series. Now that we see the loop closing, with our Jonas transforming into Stranger Jonas, and Stranger Jonas transforming into Adam, those past scenes have a very different meaning and context. Especially for Noah.
We thought of him as a big bad villain, but now we see him as another piece of the puzzle with a sad destiny. As you said in the video, he may have been in that bunker on a mission, but he genuinely loved Elizabeth and Charlotte. Now his death scene hits harder than before because we came to know him and understand his motivations.

All right! Well, as much as I've enjoyed the journey, I am ready to see how it all ends. Or begins?

It's okay! But yes, Eva is Mothering and doesn't want him to die, so she keeps the loop going. 🥲

That was revealed back in Episode 4! He is the son of Jonas and alt-Martha.

Okay, I loved this opening. It made me think of Doctor Strange 2 and their explanation of every decision we make causing a parallel universe to come into existence where we made the opposite choice. So, Dark combining that theorem with Schroedinger's Cat was absolutely brilliant.
I have a theory. Apologies if this has been revealed already and I missed it somehow.
Just in case, warning for anyone watching for the first time and wants to go in blind.
So, I'm thinking the mysterious Lip-Cut of the Corn fellow is in fact Jonas and Martha's son. The reason I think that is for a few reasons. 1, no name has been given for him. 2, he's been trying to preserve the timeline which is why Adam would want the child dead. 3, They keep saying that the child is the origin. So if my proposed theory is correct that "the origin" is a Jesus figure (the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end) then it would make sense that Lip-Cut is the child, making sure the knot continues.
As Ares said, Only a God can kill another God.
Hence, why Adam is the one that tries to kill his own child and thus very confused as to why it didn't work.

Possibly my favorite episode? I just love how everything cycles! You made a comment about being able to watch this show in a loop, and you totally could leave off episode 8 and do that and the show would keep cycling!
I can’t wait to get home and watch your reaction!
