Companion alignment
Added 2021-09-28 05:15:52 +0000 UTCIn the last public dev update on Fur Quests, we mentioned we had many plans to make each hero stand out in the story. One way we plan on doing that is to give each character a special ability they have access to in the game.
There is already a Skyrim inspired lock-picking minigame for Tera. For Celine we plan on giving her the ability to bust down doors and locks. At the same time, Morrigan can disable wards and curses throughout the story.
Some of these abilities will be available to the player character, but not to the same extent.
Furthermore, we intend on having each hero have their own moral values that ties heavily into your quests. Morrigan is very nihilistic and won’t enjoy doing most side quests. This may lead either to gaining negative influence with her, or prompting her to make her own fun.
Celine is on the other side of the moral spectrum. She’ll be very much in favor of helping most, if not everyone, along your journey. She will, however, do things out of the goodness of her heart. Denying many possible rewards or barring the player from some more morally dubious options down the line.
Tera is the more neutral member of the group, but…
