Goals Update

Good morning everyone! (Australia time). For a while now, one of the goals of this Patreon was to make Up and Atom an ad free channel. This was for the reason that it would make a more pleasant viewer experience, especially for those of you who pay for the ad free version of YouTube. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, and decided that the benefits of ads on Up and Atom outweigh the negatives, and that it is no longer a goal to have Up and Atom be ad free for the following reasons: The money that comes from my sponsors goes right back into the channel, allowing me to hire help. This means more frequent, higher quality videos. One sponsor in particular, brilliant.org, has "invested" in me, and gives me a monthly stipend so that I can dedicate all my time to making videos. I am deeply grateful for this, and also believe the money that comes from the sponsors allows me to make better videos for you all to enjoy. I am telling you this because when some of you decided to become patrons, I had written in the goals section that I wanted Up and Atom to be ad free, so if that was your main reason for the support I wanted to be direct so you wouldn't feel cheated. If this is you, I totally understand and thank you for all the support you have given so far. Really, it has helped more than you know.
