I'm pregnant!

Hi everyone,

I have some exciting news to share: I'm 14 weeks pregnant… with twins! As you can imagine, it’s a huge and joyful change, and I’ve decided to take a break from making videos for the time being.

Thank you so much for your supp...

[NEW VIDEO!] What's the Fairest Way to Cut a Cake?

Imagine you’re at a birthday party and you’re asked to cut the cake for all your friends. What’s the fairest way to cut it to make sure everyone is happy with their piece? This might sound like a simple question, but it took computer scientists over 70 years to solve. The algorithm is insanely complex. To share between five people it can take more cuts than the number of atoms in the universe. Known as The Cake-Cutting Problem, it’s famous in the branch of computer science called Fair...

Does this video need a disclaimer?

Hello! I've made a somewhat different video than my usual content. It's about objectivity in science, and explores the story of how during the beginning of the covid pandemic, two huge and prominent scientists disagreed on the best strategy to pursue to deal with covid. The question arises: science is valued for being as objective as possible, but how can it be objective if two well-renowned scientists, given the same data, can come to two conflicting conclusions? After having watched the vid...
