So this was a mad shoot and I'm suffering the consequences of it! Turns out sea salt air and sand will rust the shit out of steel - who knew? Jk - me, I knew and I still did it.
Rust aside, the shoot was so much fun! I put my makeup on at the beach so I could swim in the morning and help with our other shoots before the tide came in and as it did, we began the hike back up the hill.
I'm unsure if many of you know about Kynance Cove, but the hike is long and the temperature that day was pushing 20°C in midday sun. So in my armour and wig and - regrettably - heels, I was dying. But the shots Shill managed to get made it all worth it, partnered with the beautiful b-roll footage that Hulda got of me too!
Not to mention for those beautiful long distance shots, we actually came back on a different day and on the day we returned, the Game of Thrones set designs and location scouts were there setting up for filming the following week! It was mad, because a bunch of people thought I was part of it. My friends and I ended up befriending the location scout who was in charge and he was incredibly pleasant and delightful to natter with. We were with him for about an hour before heading on our way and he even tried convincing me to go down and sneak a peak with the set but I didn't want to get in the way.
In any case, I hope you like the pictures and as always please go and check out the amazing Shill Photography on most socials, especially instagram! She's so fantastic and we have even more shoots on the way!
