004 Naruto: Starting with Infinite Chakra

A desolate canyon stretched endlessly, jagged cliffs resembling the fangs of a giant beast. Ominous clouds loomed overhead, foretelling the coming storm. In the dim shadows, Orochimaru's pale face flickered, his golden serpent-like eyes glinting with cold amusement. Slowly, he raised an arm, and his sleeve swelled abruptly—countless venomous snakes burst forth like a black tide, their hissing cries slicing through the air. The writhing mass wove together, forming a net of death that shot toward Jiraiya.

Jiraiya barely tapped the ground with his toes before leaping back, his hands flashing through hand seals.

"Fire Release: Flame Bullet!"

A torrent of searing flames erupted from his mouth, crashing against the oncoming snakes. The air filled with the sickening stench of burning flesh as charred snake corpses rained down—only for them to turn into mud upon impact. A mere decoy! Orochimaru's true attack came from below. Three massive pythons erupted from the ground, their fangs aimed straight for Jiraiya's throat.

At the last possible moment, Jiraiya reached for the scroll at his waist. The summoning formula flashed in the air before exploding in a cloud of smoke—Gamabunta's massive frame crashed down, his enormous blade sweeping through the air. The serpent heads flew, severed in an instant, their foul-smelling blood splattering the canyon walls in dark streaks.

Orochimaru's lips curled into a sinister smile as his hands formed a rapid succession of intricate seals. The earth trembled.

"Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes!"

A flood of serpents erupted from the cracks in the ground, their squirming bodies writhing as they coiled and surged, forming a mountain of snakes that trapped Jiraiya and Gamabunta in an inescapable prison. The creatures struck relentlessly, sinking their fangs into the giant toad's thick skin, releasing venom that sizzled and burned through flesh. Gamabunta roared in fury, stabbing his short sword into the ground. Chakra surged outward, shattering the terrain in a ten-meter radius, sending a wave of snakes flying. But in midair, the mass of serpents twisted and merged into a monstrous eight-headed snake, each head exhaling toxic mist, corrosive acid, and crackling lightning.

Gamabunta swung his blade, severing three heads in one mighty slash, but the remaining ones lunged, coiling around his limbs and sinking their fangs deep into his flesh. Jiraiya seized the moment, leaping onto the serpent's back, a Rasengan spiraling violently in his palm. He drove it straight through the snake's body, but the beast shattered into countless smaller snakes that lunged at him from all directions—another layer of Orochimaru's deception!

As the battle reached a standstill, Orochimaru's hands formed the seal of the forbidden jutsu. "Reanimation Jutsu."

The ground split open, revealing three slowly rising coffins. Jiraiya's pupils contracted. If those coffins fully emerged, the battle would spiral completely out of control. He bit his thumb, blood smearing across his palm as he slammed it onto the ground. The intricate sealing script of Reverse Summoning spread out like chains, yanking the coffins back into the underworld before they could open. Orochimaru exploited the brief distraction, his blade flashing forward—Kusanagi, a gleaming silver arc aimed directly at Jiraiya's heart.

Metal clashed as Jiraiya parried with a kunai, sparks flying as the blade skimmed his shoulder, drawing a spray of blood. The two warriors engaged in a fierce exchange of taijutsu, fists and kicks colliding like war drums. Orochimaru twisted his joints at unnatural angles, his snake-like movements ensnaring Jiraiya's limbs. Kusanagi's edge grazed Jiraiya's throat, leaving behind a thin, crimson line.

In that desperate moment, Jiraiya opened his mouth—

"Oil Flame Bullet!"

A jet of fire mixed with toad oil burst forth. Orochimaru leaped back, retreating dozens of meters, but the flames still licked at his robes, burning away the fabric to reveal pale, scaly skin underneath.

The battlefield had become a vision of hell—flaming snake corpses littered the ground, shattered rock scattered like debris from an explosion. Gamabunta continued his struggle against the last remnants of the eight-headed serpent, every impact causing the earth to quake.

Jiraiya ascended to the top of Gamabunta's head, his chakra shifting. Orange markings crept across his eyelids—he had forced himself into Sage Mode mid-battle. Natural energy surged into his body like a vortex. On his shoulders, Fukasaku and Shima completed the final hand seals.

"Sage Art: Goemon!"

Flames, wind, and oil fused into an inferno, a tide of fire that swallowed half the canyon, incinerating the eight-headed serpent and leaving behind nothing but molten rock. Orochimaru darted through the flames, summoning triple Rashomon to shield himself. Even so, the scorching heat warped and melted the massive gates. His left arm was caught in the blaze—flesh seared away, revealing charred bone beneath, yet he continued to grin manically.

The battle had reached its climax. Orochimaru bit his thumb and slammed it onto the ground. The summoning formula spread like a plague—

"Manda!"

A colossal serpent, its purple scales glistening like polished metal under the moonlight, rose from the depths. Its lone, piercing eye gleamed as it bared its fangs. Drops of venom hissed as they struck the ground, corroding the rock into nothingness.

Jiraiya wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. His gaze met Gamabunta's, and the toad chief inhaled deeply, his belly expanding.

"Water Release: Iron Cannonball!"

A water sphere, rivaling the power of a Tailed Beast Bomb, blasted Manda backward. Seizing the opening, Jiraiya clasped his hands together, infusing his entire body with Sage Chakra. His hair grew wildly, hardening into an impenetrable barrage.

"Sage Art: Hair Needle Senbon!"

A rain of hardened hair needles pinned Manda against the canyon wall. Orochimaru attempted to retreat, but Fukasaku's tongue lashed out, dousing him in adhesive acid, while Shima's Wind Release Sandstorm sent him careening into Jiraiya's Rasengan.

The swirling sphere of chakra bored through Orochimaru's chest, a gaping wound erupting as his body crumpled, lifeless.

The dust settled.

Jiraiya knelt, his sage markings fading. Gamabunta stood tall despite his injuries, his breath labored but steady. Orochimaru's corpse twitched and writhed. A moment later, white serpents slithered from his shattered form, merging into the ground.

A soft chuckle echoed from the shadows. "Still the same as always… repulsively righteous…"

With those final words, he vanished into the earth.

This battle, which had raged for three days and three nights, had finally ended in Jiraiya's bitter victory.
