Flood evacuation
Added 2018-06-21 15:00:09 +0000 UTCMy family, our pets, and I had to evacuate or home yesterday due to severe flooding. More then three feet of water devastated my parent's home, my RV only just above the water. The town did nothing, no help in getting my elderly, diabetic, has to use a feeding tube father out of their home. No assistance has been forthcoming at all, thankfully my parents do have flood insurance but it will take weeks or even months to clean and repair from the damage. We are all currently at my sister's home, it is still raining, later today we will go and check for further damage. I don't have access to my PC or home at the moment. We don't know how long it will be before we can go home. We're all doing the best we can to be hopeful, I honestly don't know what to do.

2018-06-21 20:13:02 +0000 UTCSorry to hear that, Tsu. :( The rain hasn't been doing any damage (yet) down here near the coast, but I had no idea it was getting to hurricane Harvey levels of bad elsewhere. Hope you, your family, and your home make it through this!
