205 Naruto: Snatching the Mangekyō

Chains of sealing runes spread across the pulsating chunk of flesh, which soon calmed, appearing as nothing more than a slab of ordinary tissue.

After transferring the Ten-Tails' flesh to the Kamui dimension, Akira's gaze shifted to the distant battlefield over ten kilometers away.

More than ten minutes had passed, yet the severed tails of the Ten-Tails had not regenerated. They remained in the same state as before.

"It seems losing six tails at once isn't something the Ten-Tails can recover from so easily," Akira mused.

Earlier, its severed hand had regenerated within mere moments. But now, even after so long, there was no sign of the tails growing back.

Narrowing his eyes, Akira vanished. When he reappeared, he was already near the battlefield.

The moment he arrived, Akira felt an unsettling stillness.

The battlefield had gone eerily silent, and the Ten-Tails had suddenly ceased its frenzied movements.

Its crimson Rinne Sharingan swirled atop its head, scanning Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo and Ōtsutsuki Hamura.

For the first time, its gaze seemed almost human—filled with sorrow, fury, and confusion—a stark contrast to the mindless rage from before.

Previously, the Ten-Tails had been nothing more than a beast of violence, its Rinne Sharingan brimming with primal fury. But now, it exuded the presence of a sentient being.

In the next instant, the massive form of the Ten-Tails began to collapse inward, its fluid-like body flowing toward its core.

Within moments, a slender, ethereal figure emerged.

She had long, flowing blue-white hair, pure white eyes, and a Rinne Sharingan embedded on her forehead. Twin horns adorned her head, and she wore a white robe embroidered with black tomoe patterns.

Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had appeared.

A terrifying aura spread from her, suffocating in its intensity.

Akira felt as though a mountain pressed against his chest, leaving him breathless.

"This feeling… The Ten-Tails pales in comparison," Akira muttered, his face pale, as if standing before a god.

Only now did Akira fully comprehend why Hagoromo and Hamura had taken three months to seal Kaguya.

To win such a battle against her seemed almost impossible.

Having merged with the Ten-Tails and consumed the chakra fruit, Kaguya had returned to her near-peak form.

Though not her true peak—she had once divided her power between her sons, Hagoromo and Hamura—this was still the closest she had been to it.

The atmosphere on the battlefield was stifling.

"Brother, Mother is far stronger now than before. She's completely different. We must be cautious," Hamura warned grimly.

Hagoromo nodded solemnly. "Understood, Hamura. You be careful as well."

He then turned to Akira. "Pay attention. Don't be careless, and don't think the same tactics used against the Ten-Tails will work against her. Mother's reaction speed far surpasses the Ten-Tails. She wields its power perfectly alongside her own. Your space-time abilities will likely be countered and met with a swift retaliation."

"I understand. Thank you for the warning," Akira replied thoughtfully.

Kaguya's sorrowful voice interrupted their conversation. "Hagoromo, Hamura… Why? Why have you betrayed me?"

"Mother… I'm sorry," Hagoromo said, his face heavy with grief. But as he recalled the fate of humanity under the Infinite Tsukuyomi and the dire consequences of the God Tree's continued growth, his expression hardened.

"I cannot stand by and watch your actions. Please, stop planting the God Tree. It will destroy this planet!" Hagoromo's voice carried resolve.

Kaguya's anger flared. "Hagoromo, everything I've done has been for your sake, for the sake of this world. Why can't you understand?"

"If there are truly enemies threatening this world, Hamura and I will face them with you. But please, stop sacrificing this planet and its people," Hagoromo pleaded.

"Mother," Hamura interjected, "if the enemy is as formidable as you claim, the soldiers created under the Infinite Tsukuyomi will be of no use. Please reconsider."

Kaguya's white eyes narrowed, her voice turning cold.

"You don't understand how powerful the enemy is. Only by continuing to grow the God Tree and harvesting more chakra fruits can we hope to stand against them!"

Her voice softened briefly, revealing a glimmer of desire.

"This planet is special. Its life force is so abundant that even after producing one chakra fruit, it shows no signs of decline. Perhaps it can bear a second, even a third or fourth fruit…"

She paused, her gaze distant. "And who says the soldiers born of the Infinite Tsukuyomi have reached their limits? They're merely in their early stages. With time, they'll mature into powerful forces capable of challenging even the Ōtsutsuki."

"I cannot accept such a cost," Hagoromo said firmly. "The death of an entire planet, along with all its life, is too great a price for a faint hope."

Kaguya's gaze turned icy as she addressed Hamura. "Hamura, have you also decided to side with your brother against me?"

Hamura lowered his head. "I'm sorry, Mother."

"Stubborn fools!" Kaguya's face darkened, her voice filled with bitterness. "You will regret your defiance. They are coming, and when they do, this planet will still fall to ruin."

In an instant, the battlefield erupted into chaos.

Kaguya, having ignored Akira entirely, raised her hand. Countless chakra fists, compressed to perfection, launched toward her enemies, shaking the heavens and earth.

Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack!

Hagoromo and Hamura didn't dare hold back, responding with their own chakra fists to counter Kaguya's devastating assault.

The collision of their powers echoed like divine thunder, engulfing the battlefield in destruction.
