Now I can start working on the next one.For this piece, I decided to go with a bit of a darker atmosphere for the forest. After all, she's hunting some dark and dangerous critters, so I felt the mood would be portrayed better with a bit of a darker color pallet. Time to start sketching up the next one, where she spots the wolf, and prepares for a sneak attack!

2015-03-18 19:25:50 +0000 UTCThat's not a bad idea, I might have to revisit it a bit, and experiment. I am currently working on a group of thumbnails for the next image in this set (finally). However, since most of the other shots in this set are of her back, I think that it would be more important to lighten her face up a bit in this one. Thanks for the feedback!

2015-01-24 00:45:25 +0000 UTCLike. But I wonder if there was/would be any way to cheat and have a little more light hit her face. Like a slim shaft of light to spill over her shoulder and into some of her face and hair. Dig dark atmospheres, but want to see that face.

2015-01-23 22:39:36 +0000 UTCI have to say watching this one evolve over time was really interesting. I like the darker atmosphere you settled on. After seeing your concept for this character's story it makes more sense to go in this direction. The details on this one are amazing. Those rotting ruins really give a nasty feeling of decay and danger to the whole piece. I also like her watchful expression. Really looking forward to see how her adventure plays out.
