I did mention how hard it is to decide, but it's actually easier than you think because the character decides for themselves; and I know that sounds weird. But! Who they are, where they are from, what they like, what they don't like, who their friends are, what they believe in and much more, is what I and many others who have said it, mean by the statements, 'the characters write themselves' or any version of this statement. And to do this you have to be authentic and genuine to who the characters are and this is something I'm learning; and I hope I can allow to flow in this story, rather than struggling to manufacture it.
