Why did we Abandon 4:3?
Added 2024-05-09 00:32:08 +0000 UTCHey folks!
Sooooo sorry for the slow uploads. I'm totally flat out at the moment trying to keep on top of Barcadia stuff. Every moment of time I get away from the bar, I'm trying to pour into video content, but at the moment, it's not as much as I'd like!
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for hanging in here and continuing to support me through this endeavour.
I'll give you folks a proper update on Barcadia, etc very soon. There's lots happening and it's all exciting (among the stress). If I had a semblance of organisation, I'd vlog everything that was going on, but I'm not quite there yet :)
ANYHOO, here's a video about why we moved from 4:3 to 16:9, which I meant to put out weeks ago, but have only just finally completed.
Also, I thought I'd upload this video to Patreon, rather than hosting on YouToobs. Not sure whether that's a good thing or not, but I'd be interested in your feedback!
Speak soon,
Love Pete x

I use Video DownloadHelper as a Firefox extension, which can download videos from Patreon.

2024-08-10 06:54:44 +0000 UTCLate to the party, I actually like videos posted to Patreon since the youtube integration in the app does not work properly on my phone. With a small child I sadly do not have time to properly sit down and enjoy a video on a big screen, so mostly videos are running on the phone while I wear one earbud to listen to the narrative and whenever I have a minute I can look at the screen.

2024-05-09 11:32:51 +0000 UTCI'm surprized patreon does not allow downloads as simply as with images, I figured it should've been the case (as I upload highres images)

2024-05-09 00:59:10 +0000 UTCPersonally I download youtube videos and watch them offline, a result of years of having bad internet due to needing censorship avoidance tools (and it's one of the reasons I do patreon, to compensate the lack of ads as a result of this by patreon) and so far there's not an easy way to do this with Patreon videos

2024-05-09 00:42:39 +0000 UTCI'd much prefer YouTube, which I can watch from my large living room TV, instead of Patreon-only, which I can only watch from my laptop.
